It’s bizarre to write the first post on a new blog. A blog I know no one’s reading.This won’t be the first post forever, though – eventually the content from my old art blog will be imported here. Then this will just be a strange little post in the middle.
So what is there to say? Hi, I’m Julie. I’m an artist living in Munich, Germany. I mostly do paintings, acrylic and oil, and most of my paintings are cityscapes or portraits. Sometimes I make collages, too. I like to play around and experiment, but these are the materials and subject matters that keep drawing me back.
I am not a particularly disciplined artist, although I strive to be. Some days the muse and I work together perfectly, but most days I have to resort to flogging.
