I’m no stranger to using fresh produce as my still-life subjects, but for some reason painting this lovely head of radicchio seemed rather, well, silly.
I blame the name.

Totally rad radicchio! You crack me up about food art. I try to get away from that myself, but can’t… I posted garlic for CED this week, sheesh. You & I, bet we’d make one hell of a salad. On our walls. HA!
