Oktoberfest Pretzel Girl, 20 x 20 cm, oil on canvas, ©2011 Julie Galante. Original painting available on Etsy.
I’m back in my Munich studio after a refreshing trip to Austria. Time to get in the mood for Oktoberfest, just a couple weeks away!

1 billion percent proud of you! This is such an excellent idea and I think your style lends so well to an artsy boutique. Your amazing use of color- people want to buy stuff at a gift shop that grabs them and makes them smile- and your works will do just that!
Especially the small paintings which are like your own brand of crack. People get that little taste and then they MUST become collectors. Hmm maybe I shouldn’t expose that secret on the blog.
BTW I think you need to spice up your motto on their site. Although it is wholesomely accurate, I don’t believe it is your motto.
I think “motto” is a bit of a mistranslation from their German site. It’s supposed to be a brief summary about the artist.
