Tuscany in pigments and paints

A painting I have in progress: another Tuscan farmhouse scene, in a mix of acrylics and earth tone pigments. I’m struggling with where to go next. Maybe the sky will get some more color.

Happy holidays!

hi jul~ I love this painting so far…your use of color is wonderful and I love the over-all pinkness of it! I can’t wait to see where you go with this one.

    blessings and happy new year!

jul, the comment box is not working and, on my blog, I went back to the pop up window because people could not comment…thought I would let you know. I have been able to trick it into letting me by going through preview..don’t know why that works and it might not work now…

Thanks for your kind comment, Linda, and thanks for letting me know about the comment box problem. I was hoping they would have it fixed by now! I’ll try switching back to the pop up window, too.

Happy new year to you, too!

Oh, lovely!! I so enjoy seeing the colours you use – & the gold leaf work is really fun, too! Years ago I took a class "Paper, passion & poetry" – I think we met 5 days, & 'little old ladies' who had been doing puppy & kitty pictures were using black & the gilts by the end of the 5 days!! It was SO much fun to play with different media & techniques – your Byzantine piece reminds me of this
