Back in the studio again

Munich Gärtnerplatz
I think this one’s done. (Last seen in progress in this post.)

What a perfect week to be in the studio. Munich is getting a ridiculous amount of sunlight, enhanced by the slightly longer days. I have a couple of new painting projects in the works, and I’m feeling quite energized.

This month is all about painting for me. It’s surprisingly hard to not be distracted by marketing and all the other ideas that are swimming around in my brain, but I’ve decided I need to focus on building my inventory right now. A robust inventory will help me make the most out of future opportunities. (Wow, did the MBA in me come out in that last sentence or what?) It’s such a nice feeling to spend a whole day in the studio knowing that it’s exactly what I should be doing.

What should you be doing this month?

  1. The bicycle is a nice offcenterpiece for the painting, in my thought, and I like the thing for Valentine Day.

My Latin teacher in school used to say fountains were the thing everyone has painted and poetized all through the ages.

    The red is shocking….nice.
